Great tour! Thank you. Nemours has been a big favorite of mine since I was a young child and I saw it in Architectural Digest. I’ve never toured it but would like to one day. Have seen the big houses at Newport though. The gardens here are spectacular and the house is a pretty as any there. Glad AI Dupont left the resources to keep it going for others to enjoy.

I went to Skyline caverns as a child, then took my own children and next week I will be bringing my 18 mo. granddaughter! We love it here! I think it is important to show children at a young age many different experiences. Going into the subterranean opens the mind of developing children. Their world is suddenly much larger than just the ground and sky- now they will understand what is underneath.

I saw something similar in outskirts of Seoul, Korea. Theirs have a top awning for UV protection. That would be more comfortable if these railroad bikes also had a rooftop awning.

The building is supposed to represent a phonograph needle but since it's upside down few get that impression. when we were there Johnny Cash's bus was parked outside and totally open to all. I just learned, years late, that this place closed. It's such a shame. 😟 I never got to visit the D.C. location. I did visit when it was in Arlington. It was a great place. I wish I could have gone to the D.C. one. The Newseum will be missed.
